1. Who we are

DeccanBridge is a global network of independent, partner-led professional services firms providing integrated legal, assurance, advisory, tax and technology services. Each member firm is a separate and independent legal entity. The member firm that provides services to you is the controller of your personal information for that engagement. Our global headquarters is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly, that we generate in the course of providing services, and that we obtain from third parties and public sources. This may include:

  • Identity and contact details — name, role, organisation, email, telephone and postal address;
  • Engagement information — correspondence, instructions, documents and materials you share with us;
  • Recruitment information — where you apply for a role with us, your CV, qualifications and references;
  • Technical information — IP address, device and browser data, and website usage captured through cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to deliver and administer our services, to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations, to manage our relationship with you, to recruit and to operate our business. Our lawful bases include the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, your consent where required, and our legitimate interests in running a professional services firm.

4. How we share information

We share personal information within the DeccanBridge network, with carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions, and with regulators, courts and authorities where we are required or permitted to do so. We do not sell personal information. Where information is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the UK and EU GDPR, and equivalent regional frameworks.

5. How long we keep it

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy professional, legal, accounting and reporting requirements. Retention periods vary by service line and jurisdiction.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
